The Toledo Provincial Council created the “Senderos de Toledo” project to promote the creation of signposted trails, and dissemination of the heritage of the different towns in the province of Toledo. All trails can be found at www.senderosdetoledo.org. On the website of the Finca los Pájaros Rural House we recommend some published there, which are in the surroundings of the Montes de Toledo. Today we start with the “Risco de los Yébenes” trail.

The town of Los Yébenes is located approximately one hour by car (66 km) from the Finca los Pájaros Rural House, and is a place very frequented by hunters and nature lovers. On this route you can enjoy magnificent views of the Algodor valley, also passing through other points of interest such as the Cañada Real de las Merinas, the Mirador del Valle del Algodor (which is the highest point of the route, with an altitude of 1069 m), La Chorrera, several Windmills, the Iron Mine, and the Hermitage of San Blas.

It is a circular route of approximately 15.4 kg, with medium difficulty, which takes about four hours.
