This small municipality of the Montes de Toledo, with only 300 inhabitants, borders the towns of Nambroca, Villaminaya, Orgaz and Ajofrín.

It was once a hamlet inhabited by the MozarabS from harvest time only, although since the eighteenth century there has been documentary evidence of the convent establishment of the Barefoot Carmelites, and the Trinitarian Fathers.

It is worth visiting the parish church of St. Mary Magdalene, built between the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries
